This course builds upon electrical prerequisites to introduce hybrid and electric vehicle propulsion systems. The history of both EV, HEV and Hybrid vehicles will be reviewed. OSHA High Voltage Safety requirements and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) utilization will be reviewed and practiced during lab sessions. Detailed discussions related to EV range and driver expectations will be conducted to prepare learners for the EV service work environment.
