Associate of Applied Science Degree

The associate of applied science degree in business management is designed to provide the student with a general background in business and an awareness of the organizational and environmental changes that continually challenge management.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this program will potentially be prepared for entry-level employment as:

  • Administrative assistant
  • Customer service supervisor
  • Executive assistant
  • General business managers
  • Human resources specialist or assistant
  • Office managers
  • Purchasing and logistics agents
  • Relationship banker
  • Retail managers
  • Sales managers or representatives

Transfer Information

Although this program is a two-year occupational program designed to prepare students for employment, many four-year colleges and universities will accept much of this curriculum in transfer. MCCC has transfer agreements with Eastern Michigan University, Davenport University, Ferris State University, Northwood University, Siena Heights University, University of Michigan-Dearborn, University of Toledo, and Indiana Wesleyan University. Further, MCCC has a transfer agreement that provides that this degree program can transfer to BS in Sports Management at Eastern Michigan University.
