The AFL-CIO Skilled Trades Pathway to Apprenticeships, supported by local union partners and employer sponsors, blends classroom learning with hands-on training to prepare students for high-demand careers. Upon completion, participants gain the privilege of interviewing for employment opportunities and open a direct pathway into Registered Apprenticeship Programs, ensuring a strong foundation for long-term success in the skilled trades. Courses for the certificate can be applied toward the associate degree. * Students must achieve a C or higher in all courses to complete the certificate program.
