CIS 186 - Multimedia Development Credit Hours: 3 Billable Contact Hours: 3 Prerequisites: CIS 130 Session Cycle: WI
This course covers industry standard tools and techniques for producing multimedia content. This development platform will stress the creation of compositions with sound, graphics, animation, and video that can be deployed on the web, on DVD or with other multimedia applications.

- Each student will be expected to Identify/Recognize multimedia terminology, techniques, and features.
- Each student will be expected to Identify/Recognize steps and elements involved in creating and producing an interactive multimedia movie.
- Each student will be expected to Demonstrate/Practice their ability to plan an interactive multimedia project.
- Each student will be expected to Demonstrate/Practice their ability to position and sequence media elements in the timeline.
- Each student will be expected to Demonstrate/Practice their ability to add effects, shapes, and solid layers.
- Each student will be expected to Demonstrate/Practice their ability to mask and key.
- Each student will be expected to Demonstrate/Practice their ability to animate through presets, keyframing, and the Puppet tools.
