Secondary Education History/Geography Transfer Pathway

The following are course recommendations for students who plan on transferring to a four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree for teaching history at the secondary level. Consult the list of MCCC General Education course satisfiers, if seeking an associate degree.

Recommended Courses - History transfer students will typically seek an Associate of Arts, most graduate programs in history require familiarity with at least one foreign language; students considering an Associate of Science should contact their advisor or a counselor.
