Associate of Applied Science Degree

The associate of applied science degree in logistics and warehouse management is designed to provide the student with a general background in legal studies and prepare students for careers as logisticians and related occupations.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of this program will potentially be prepared for entry-level employment as:

  • Logisticians
  • Warehouse Manager
  • Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Managers
  • Cargo and Freight Agents
  • Purchasing Managers
  • Inventory Control Managers
  • Logistics Services Salesperson
  • Industrial Production Managers

Program Outcomes

A. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

B. Demonstrate computer competency, including technology commonly used in Supply Chain Management.

C. Demonstrate knowledge of safety, quality control, teamwork, and workplace conduct.

D. Demonstrate knowledge of processes associated with various aspects of the supply chain network.

E. Explain the concepts related to procurement.

F. Explain the concepts related to warehouse management.

G. Explain the concepts related to transportation management.

Transfer Information

Although this program is a two-year occupational program designed to prepare students for employment, many four-year colleges and universities will accept much of this curriculum in transfer.
